COVID-19

  • All clients must have the NHS Test and Trace App installed

  • All clients must notify me as soon as possible if you or anyone in your household develop symptoms or have been advised to self-isolate.  The 48-hour cancellation policy will be waived and your session can be re-booked when it is safe to do so

1-1 Training Session Protocols

  • Wherever possible, all training sessions will take place outdoors

  • Individuals attending sessions should be kept to a minimum and must be no more than 5

  • Sessions can be rearranged without charge in the case of extreme weather

  • When outdoor sessions are not possible, the session will take place indoors ONLY if the space allows for a 2 metre distance and face coverings MUST be worn throughout the session

Gundog Activity Club Protocols

  • Hands will be sanitised before entering any gate/home and again before re-entering the van

  • A face covering will be worn whenever it is necessary for me to enter the home

  • Please ensure your dog is not wearing a collar when they are due to be collected.  I will use my own collars and leads made from Biothane; an antimicrobial material that can be easily sanitised between each dog

  • Dogs will be wiped/sprayed with Leucillin before entering the van and again before re-entering the home.  Leucillin has been shown to be effective against Covid-19 in lab testing and is harmless to tissue including eyes, ears, and sensitive skin

  • If you or somebody else will be at home, you should choose one of the handover protocols below that best suits your circumstances.  This should be adhered to on every collection and drop off until further notice.  If you have any queries about your particular circumstances, please discuss it with me beforehand so we have a plan in place for my arrival

  • Wherever possible, handovers will be completed outside and the 2 metre distancing guideline should be adhered to at all times
